The Viking® CK 800/900 MHz handheldwas designed to meet the advanced needs of the industrial and utilities markets, as well as public service applications for police, fire, paramedics, and ambulance services

  • Multi-mode capability including Multi-Net® II, Multi-Net, LTR® , and conventional operation (including conventional talkaround).
  • Seven-character alphanumeric LCD spells out system and group names, as well as other status information. The display is backlit for nighttime use.
  • 14 Multi-Net system capacity with up to 11 groups per system provide flexibility in partitioning systems and groups to maximize efficient use of available channels.
  • 1 or 3 watt* models allow extended battery life for extended operation or maximum output power for penetrating coverage in buildings or other structures.
  • Emergency button can be programmed to allow top priority access into the Multi-Net system. Once triggered, the Unique Identification (UID) number of the radio is transmitted to the dispatch console along with an audible alert tone.
  • System and group scan ensure flexible communications without missing important calls.
  • Channels can be scanned when operating in conventional systems.
  • Scan lockout allows systems and groups to be omitted from the scan list as user needs dictate. 5-key or DTMF models available.
